Who We Are
Kathleen undertook her pupillage at Wainwright and Cummins in 2009 and joined our in-house advocacy team as a qualified barrister.
Kathleen graduated from Kingston University with a degree in law, Kathleen was called than to the Bar in 2007 as a member of the Inner Temple. Since joining our team, Kathleen has experience in a wide range of criminal law from thefts and assaults to benefit fraud, money laundering, serious drug offences and confiscation. Kathleen is committed to criminal defence work, and frequently appears in both the Crown Court and Magistrates Court conducting trials and other hearings.
Kathleen adopts a sensitive and compassionate approach to her work and is developing an expertise in dealing with those particularly vulnerable clients who suffer from mental health difficulties. Kathleen represents clients charged with a wide variety of serious, and general criminal offences.
Kathleen's area of expertise spans all areas of crime and include: allegations of serious violence, sexual offences, drugs, confiscation and complex fraud. She regularly appears in the crown court and the lower court.
She is a leading junior and an excellent trial advocate. She was led by Michael Holland QC in a gangland murder case where a firearm was discharged.
She has extensive experience in representing vulnerable people and those with mental health. She accepts instructions from solicitor firms.
